Olive Garden Suite
Cooler than the sea-facing rooms and quieter than all of them. The garden suites open onto their own walled patch of the old grove.
Six olive trees on this plot are more than two hundred years old, and the wing was set out around them rather than through them. The result is a suite whose terrace is a room in its own right: dry stone walls at shoulder height, gravel underfoot, shade from morning until the light goes amber.
Inside, the room faces east, so it wakes gently and stays cool in the afternoon. It is the residence we suggest to guests who sleep lightly, and to anyone spending the middle of the day reading rather than swimming.
