The Infinity Pool
A pool built to swim in rather than to photograph, which happens to photograph well.
The main pool is twenty five metres, four lanes wide at the shallow end and level with the bay at the far edge. It is heated to 27 degrees from the start of April to the end of October, and lit from below after dark for anyone who wants to swim late.
Lengths before nine are unspoken house etiquette, and the terrace is quiet until breakfast finishes. From eleven the bar is open and the water is anyone's.
