Elysis Spa and Hammam
Built into the hillside, so it is dark, cool and quiet at the hour when nothing else on the island is.
The spa runs back into the rock behind the main house: four treatment rooms, a marble hammam heated each morning, a cold plunge and a small relaxation room that looks out at knee height onto the garden.
Treatments are built around olive oil pressed eight kilometres from here, sea salt, and thyme honey. The signature is a ninety minute hammam and massage; the one our own team book is the sixty minute deep tissue after a day of swimming.
