The Beach Club
The bay is ours as far as the rock at either end, which is the reason the resort is where it is.
Kolymbithres is a granite bay, so the sand is coarse, the water is clear to four metres and the swimming is good from May. Twenty eight loungers are set out in pairs with a metre of space more than is usual between them, and they are never resold once a residence has claimed one for the day.
The club kitchen runs from eleven to six: grilled fish, salads from the garden behind the kitchen, and a raw bar after one. Attendants bring cold towels, sunscreen and a jug of water without being asked, and take orders without hovering.
