Island Excursions
Paros is bigger and stranger than the postcard of it, and worth two days of any week here.
The concierge runs half and full day trips with drivers who grew up here: the ancient marble quarries at Marathi, the pottery and weaving in Lefkes, Naoussa's harbour before the evening crowd, and the long empty beaches at Faragas and Tripiti.
Antiparos is twenty minutes by the ferry at Pounta, and the cave there is worth the steps. For anyone who would rather find it themselves, we keep a small fleet of cars and two Vespas.
